In short, art + Siwa Oasis are my life

Five years ago, I visited Siwa and stole my heart with its charm, nature, the kindness of its women and their talent in their traditional embroidery art.

With the artist's sense, I noticed that the sales and marketing of their products are a bit weak due to the repetition of designs and colors.

From here, the idea came to me to help them develop their work through my project (Shali), which is the name of the old city that the people of Siwa built and inhabited in the past.

I started to reformulate Siwa's traditional heritage in a new way, drawing designs manually and training Siwa women to implement them, in order to make an authentic Egyptian handmade product, but with a modern touch that suits our daily use, such as shawls, veils, bedspreads and clothes.

Only one or two pieces of the design are implemented. Therefore, the one you wear, you will not find anyone wearing the same one... even in Siwa itself.
